New crew join in Cienfuegos

Posted in : Hummingbird

As the crew awoke early, possibly suffering a little jet lag, breakfast was done sharp and we were on to training briefings at 8am. We worked our way through domestics, safety and deck briefs. All of this was complete by midday as our crew were then given the afternoon to explore ashore before a long days sail tomorrow.

Stories returned of Nicola chatting with the locals while exploring the sites of Cienfuegos, Penny dancing and partying in the local pool, Anthony took to admiring the setting sun while Nick out searching for cocktail ingredients and Stu was left trying to get cash to pay the fuel bill on a Sunday.

Back on board Holly made fresh bread for the passage tomorrow, Rob worked on some photography and Tracey did some pilotage planning.

We all gathered on the local rooftop bar for sundowners before heading out for some local Cuban cuisine. As the crew awoke early, possibly suffering a little jet lag, breakfast was done sharp and we were on to training briefings at 8am.
