6 November Despite a much easier night passage than the previous two, the crew were soon abed for a couple of hours of much needed kip, before the sybaritic delights of the luxury marina showers were sampled by the crew prior to a walk ashore to the Dartmouth institution that is Cafe Alf Resco‘s. After delicious cooked breakfasts all round (vegetarian options available!) the crew went their separate ways to explore Dartmouth and it’s surroundings. Activities ranged from serious window shopping to cross country walks but all made it back to the boat for a late lunch. After a relaxing afternoon and an obligatory Devon Cream Tea, we reconvened on board to meet Tracey Hindemarsh, a serial, even, one might say, an addicted Rubicon-er with 8 trips this year alone! Over yet more delicious home made cake provided by Tracey and more tea the crew found out about the full range of trips that Rubicon offer. A quiet evening and an early night for all ended a very enjoyable day.
